8 QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR PARTNER BEFORE MARRIAGE
Before tying the knot, these questions should answered by both partners in preparation for their next level.
1. What
does your relationship with your family and friends look like? What role will your two families and friends play in your life together?
This spans everything from short visits, to extended stays, to holidays and
special events.
2. What is
your financial goal in terms of annual income and what are your expenses like? For your annual income, this includes how much you earn
together and what your collective goal is, as well as your individual goals and
how you anticipate achieving them. In terms of your expenses, this can include
the percentage of income you’re each willing to spend on maintaining your home
as well as your categories of expenses such as clothing, insurance, and travel
etc.
3. Will
you have children together? If you both want children, how many children do you want to have, and
when? How will having children change the way you currently live?
4. How
ambitious are you? Are you comfortable with each other’s level of ambition? How will this
affect how much time you spend at work and your commitment to your career/family?
5. Are you
each satisfied with the frequency of your intimacy? Do your desire levels match and how do you cope if they don’t?
6. Are you
happy with each other’s approach to health? Does one of you have a habit or habits that concerns the other? How
important is a healthy lifestyle to you and what does that encompass?
7. Do you share a religion or spiritual practice
and in what way does that play a part in your life together? Do you each belong to a religious institution? How much time do you devote
to your religious practice and are you each understanding and respectful of the
other’s choices?
8. How do you share responsibilities in terms of
kids and household duties? Who is responsible for the housekeeping and how do you divvy up your

I CAN NOT MARRY A POOR MAN – Iyabo Ojo
Nollywood actress, Iyabo
Ojo, has given reasons she will never marry a poor man.
The actress whose marriage crashed, and has since refused to
remarry, told Punch that she is now ready to give marriage a chance.
She said, “If marriage comes along, yes I will consider it.
Then, I used to say that I didn’t want to get married again because of the
stress involved.
“Now, I have had a rethink. But I can’t marry a poor man. Some
people will say I shouldn’t say that, but I am a blunt person. For someone like
me, there is no love without money. I am a celebrity and I am
expected to maintain a certain lifestyle, which is expensive.”
expected to maintain a certain lifestyle, which is expensive.”
“I have a lot of responsibilities . As a breadwinner and celebrity
, how do you expect me to marry a poor man? Where do you expect us to start
from?
“I am not ready to add any man’s problems to mine. I don’t need
the man to be very rich, but he must be able to feed himself and me. You don’t
even have to cater for my other responsibilities.
“We all have our defects. When you keep looking for an ideal
man, a good one will pass you by. I just need a man who is responsible for
himself first before me. Once he is hungry for success, every other thing will
follow.
“The kind of man I want in my life has to be more successful than
me. When I bought my personal assistant a car , people said I didn’t want her
to marry. I told them that I don’t expect her to marry someone who does not
have a car as well.
“You say what you want out of life; we shouldn’t deceive
ourselves. It is a choice to die in poverty and I have chosen not to die in
poverty. I cannot flow with someone who wants to die in poverty.”
WHY I WILL NOT KISS IN MOVIES AGAIN – Majid Michel
Award-winning Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel, has stressed
that he is a true servant of God.

dismissed his claims of being a pastor as a ploy to preserve his popularity
among movie fans on the continent.

Quoting directly from the scriptures, he wrote, via his Instagram

popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.”

will no longer accept kissing roles in movies as that may affect his new
assignment as an Evangelist.

his love for God revealed this during an interview on Bryte FM.
The Famous actor known for having good looks said this
decision will help him take the gospel to the end of the world.

FRANCIS ODINAKA UZOHO SETS NEW RECORD IN SPANISH LALIGA HISTORY
UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup gold
medal-winning goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho at the weekend entered the
record books of La-Liga, as the Spanish top-flight league’s youngest foreign
shot-stopper ever.
Uzoho achieved the feat with his debut for
Deportivo La Coruna in their 0-0 draw away to Eibar, as he started in goal for
Pep Mel’s side at Ipura Municipal Stadium.
Uzoho who was signed from Qatar-based Aspire
Academy one year ago, was handed his debut with a starting role at 18 years and
352 days old.
This makes the over six feet tall shot-topper
the youngest foreigner to keep goal in La-Liga following his debut, where he
showed no sign of a player playing his first top flight day.
Ironically the oldest foreigner to have kept
goal in the La-Liga also did so while playing for Deportivo La Coruna, and that
was legendary Cameroon goalkeeper Jacques Songo’o when he kept goal for them at
the age of 40 years and 67 days in 2004.
Uzoho will no doubt be hoping to emulate the
success of Songo’o at the club as he is now going to be the first choice
goalkeeper until Reuben who is out injured returns.

CONTRARY TO POLICE REPORT CHIME WAS ACTUALLY POISONED- Family
The Family of Chime Amaechi, who died in the same car
alongside Davido’s friend DJ Olu, has denied reports that their son died as a
result of drug overdose.
Chime and DJ Olu were found dead in a car at the parking lot of
the Banana Island apartment they lived in.
Speaking to The net, the bereaved family said, reports that Chime died of drug
overdose was false as he was not a drug user.
Mr Amaechi said, ”My late son was not a drug user, like me he
didn’t even drink and when he did, it was always in very small quantity. He was
a level-head, nice human being.”
”Even when he left school and started business, he would always
let me know his next line of action, so I am surprised that these lies are
being spread about him.’’
Also speaking, his sister said, ‘‘Chime is not that type of
person, If you see drug addicts, they don’t think straight most times, Chime is
not like that.’’ his sister added.
The father went on to say he had accepted the death of Chime as a Christian who
had left everything to God but couldn’t keep quiet seeing the lies being spread
about his son.
He also said his son was 23-year-old and not 25 as speculated.
Adding that he only wanted justice for the death of his son.
‘I spoke to the DPO of Ikoyi Police Station when I saw the Punch
story and he said investigations were still ongoing and there’s no way that can
be correct.
”They even got the age wrong: they said he’s 25. My son that I
gave birth to is just 23. He was 23 in February. We just want justice to be
done.’’

HOW SOCIAL MEDIA DESTROYED SEGUN ARINZE’S MARRIAGE
Veteran Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze has said that social
media is helping to destroy so many celebrity marriages.
The
52-year-old actor who suffered a broken marriage in 2003 from his ex-wife and
actress Anne Njemanze ‘Domitila’ said celebrities aren’t “helping
themselves” by putting their private lives on social media.
“I have had my share
of it,” he said, speaking to LIB “remember I had a broken marriage.”
He said:
Social Media is helping to destroy so many marriages and a lot of
our so-called celebrities are not helping themselves by putting their marriages
and relationships on social media.
Your private life should be private. I have had my share of it,
remember I had a broken marriage before I remarried again.
Learn to keep your private life private and your public life
public. You don’t let the whole world come into your life and see what you are
doing because the same people who are seeing you today and going to mock you
tomorrow.
As a public figure, it’s really tough being a public figure.
Celebrities need to separate their private lives from the public, show what’s
necessary if it’s important.
It’s really crazy how everybody post about their private life on
the Internet, looking for likes and all that. Social media has its advantages
in terms of reaching out to fans, marketing and promoting of your brands. But
the disadvantages will come back to hurt you.
