MY DAD HAD A VISION THAT I ENDED MY MUSIC AS A GOSPEL SINGER - Davido

 



Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, AKA Davido, has revealed a vision his dad, Deji Adeleke, told him he had about him.

The ‘OBO’ crooner stated that his dad told him that he had a vision that he would end his music career up as a gospel singer.

Davido disclosed this during a chat with some guests at his wedding which took place on Tuesday at the Eko Hotel and Suites, the wedding attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including his uncle, the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and his Lagos and Abia State counterparts, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Alex Otti.

Others are former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

Also in attendance were Don Jazzy, Ini Edo, PSquare, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, Obi Cubana, Seyi Tinubu, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Osimhen, Pocolee, and the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

 

“In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer’,” he said.

HOW I WAS HARASED & BRUTALIZED BY NIGERIA POLICE – Actress Laide Bakare

 


Famous Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has taken to the internet to call out the Nigeria police.

Laide in a now viral post on her Instagram page on Sunday, accused the police of brutality.

The Yoruba actress explained that the incident happened on Saturday along the Ikorodu Expressway.

“For the first time, I experienced the brutal way Nigerians are being treated along that axis.

“I cannot imagine how someone with a brain and sanity will drive someone’s car away with a minor in it.

“A lot is happening in this country that needs to be attended to. My daughter was left terrified because of the incident.

“The police targeted only big cars and vulnerable people to exploit and rob. Just because they needed our ATM card to take out N70,000,” she alleged.

PORTABLE BECOMES ‘POLICE AMBASSADOR’ DAYS AFTER ARREST

 


Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed that he is now an ambassador for the Nigeria Police.

This is coming days after he was arrested by the police for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.

In a recent Instagram post, the ‘Zazu’ crooner advocated for support for the police, noting that they are “our friends.”

On his ordeal, he said he believes that every “disappointment is a blessing.”

He wrote, “Zazuu federal government libeliability. Omo ijoba Police Ambassador I do music for living star don’t beg to shine. Akoi grace wey no dey disgrace.

I no fit run from God that’s all my believing God is over everything after God na government Police is our friends I believe in God my phone and sub any disappointment is a blessings. ZehNation many many inspiration.” (Sic)

‘HOW I ENCOURAGED WIZKID, BURNA BOY, DAVIDO WHEN THEY WERE NOBODY’ – Oritsefemi


Nigerian singer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, has claimed that he is his colleagues, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido’s godfather.

He said he had already made money from music before they came into limelight.

According to him, he encouraged the trio to do music.

Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Oritsefemi said, “I had already made money [from the music industry] when some people were sleeping [yet to come into limelight].

“Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, so many of them [young artists], I encouraged them. I’m like their godfather.

“Even some female celebrities who are now trolling me on social media, I accommodated them in my mansion in Lekki back in the days. Even Burna Boy, I once accommodated him.”
