7 LESSONS FROM MOHBAD'S DEATH

Promise Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as MohBad, was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Lagos. He was formerly signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Records and left the label in 2022.
The death of this popular Nigerian rapper and songwriter has really triggered a whole lot in the social media space becoming the most talk about in the last few days. I am not here to talk about what I know or don't know about what had happened, just want to share 7 lessons I personally learnt from this incident and I feel this may be of help to any young person out there;
 1. Be careful who you are loyal to: Loyalty is priceless, but it is very important who you surrender yourself to all in the name of loyalty. Many people would have gone farther in life if not for the individual or group of people to have submitted themselves to all in the name of loyalty.
The company you keep really matter if you want to do well in life and live long in life.
2. Desperation will make you vulnerable to people and that can give people the opportunity to take advantage of you. when people know you need something desperately, they make the offer juicy and blind you to the consequences that comes with the offer.
3. Everything we do as human has ulterior motives, so be sure you understand every terms and conditions surrounding the help someone is offering you. Before you sign any contract or endorsement, please be sure you understand every of the terms and conditions.
Don't sign any deal or contract that will take away your freedom and silence your decision making ability
4. It is obvious that many people don't really know the true definition of success and therefore settling for what they should not settle for. The decisions a lot of our youths make today has really shown that we know the true definition of success.
5. Although we have control over the can of choice we make, we can't decide what the consequences of our choices would turn out to be.
6. Every parent should make sure they raise thier children with accurate knowledge required to do well in life. Especially in these three major areas;
i. A strong positive self esteem (Self worth)
ii. Self Discovery/ Purpose
iii. Knowledge of who GOD really is
7. There is one thing more important than the air we breathe - GOD; it is so obvious in the day and age that wee are in presently that there is no true success outside GOD
